I grew up in Madison Heights and moved to Holly approximately 40 years ago. I have 4 sons, Mark, Marty, Chris and Keith who all graduated from Holly High School.
I began selling Roadside Produce at the age of 12. At age 16 I went to work for Great Scott Supermarket and was promoted to Product Manager at the age of 18. At age 30 I went to work for Hamady Brothers Markets and was promoted to Supervisor Desk Buyer until the age of 45. I then went into the Wholesale Produce Business “Topps” and opened the 1st store in Holly. 1 ½ years later I opened the 2nd store in Fenton. My son Mark helped open the new store in 2008.
